I know this is in the wrong category but w.e Anyways I’ve been using it for a week now and everymorning after I brush my teeth I see a small difference but it’s still a difference, anyways through the day my teeth colour changes back to it’s normal. I want it to stay the same colour that I get in the morning or even whiter. Does listerine really work on your opinion ?

An extremely old-fashioned Listerine mouthwash commercial from 1952. Actually, it could be said that this type of commercial was already becoming obsolete by the time it aired. It should be noted that at the time, a couple of long-commercials was preferred over many small ones (even the New York Times prefered shows that had a commercial break each 15 minutes over shows that had one every 10 minutes). I drank a lot of Listerinemouthwash and was really dizzy. I went to bed like that being really dizzy and then I woke up with my mouth really dry and still really dizzy. I drank some water and went back to sleep, and I woke up a little dizzy, then I went back to sleep and I woke up fine.
Will I be okay?
But the thing is I STILL feel like I am going to throw up.
And my stomache STILL hurts.

My dentist told me to get this at a pharmacy but what is this really for. She told me that it was for my gums but then it tastes more lile a mouthwash so lm confuse, but my gums have been getting so healthy so lm so glad about that.
-But anyways is it for bad breath or for my gums?

I’m going to start having to use it tomorrow and I’m worried. There have been so many comments about how its painful, discoloring, and overall disgusting. Also, do you really have to put it directly in the holes of the wisdom teeth? I can’t even see mine because my mouth doesn’t open up that much! Thanks

Answer by Liz M It’s not painful, but it does taste absolutely disgusting and does discolor your teeth. The good news is that the discoloration is only temporary, a good professional cleaning at the dentist will take care of it. Good luck!

Answer by Nora Biotene stimulates the salivary glands and does work for most people. Other over the counter options are: oramoist- it’s a small disolvable strip that you place in your mouth and stimulates salivary function- Oasis- is another mouthwash that does the same as biotene but for some works better. Drink lots of water and chew sugarless gum, that helps too.
